EMCOR Group, Inc. Subsidiary Awarded Contract for Installation of Mechanical Systems at Westin Hotel

NORWALK, CONNECTICUT, November 16, 2010 - EMCOR Group, Inc. (NYSE: EME), a Fortune 500® leader in mechanical and electrical construction, energy infrastructure and facilities services for a diverse range of businesses announced that its University Mechanical & Engineering Contractors, Inc. Arizona subsidiary has been awarded a contract for the installation mechanical systems at the new Westin Hotel in Phoenix, Arizona.


University Mechanical & Engineering Contractors (UMEC) will be responsible for installing the complete plumbing, as well as the wet and dry HVAC systems for a new Westin Hotel being built in downtown Phoenix. This new hotel is being built inside an existing luxury office tower and will occupy nine of the tower's 26 floors. In addition to offering 242 upscale guest suites, the Westin will have 9,000 square feet of meeting and banquet space and a 24-hour gym. Scheduled to open first quarter of 2011, this project is fast tracked.
